Brewhaha
I'm homebrewing again! A little while ago a new home brew shop opened up in North Sydney (Dave's Home Brew - Shop 1 283A Miller St - part of the North Sydney Oval structure). I've been meaning to stop in for ages and finally got round to it today. I bought an all in one starter kit which comes geared to make a lager. Talking to Dave I said I wanted to make something with a bit of a belgian style so on top of the kit I got a light malt (to use instead of the dextrose the kit comes with) and a couple of hop bags, one for dry hopping and one for steeping, all of which should go to make the end result a bit more interesting.
Style
It's about time I made my site look ok in Internet Explorer (not that it's my fault IE doesn't support stylesheets very well at all). Firstly I've added a style chooser so you can change styles easily and they'll stick between pages. Secondly I've started on a new stylesheet which will eventually become the default one. For now though you can click here to trigger it. I'm working on the layout first, so it's just black and white for the time being.
Revisited
Still kicking Orkut around. It's obviously still in beta, I think I just spammed Rusty Russell with several messages due to mail interface that doesn't look like it's sending when it in fact is (Orkut seem to allow a lot of things to be cached that shouldn't).
The reason for the message was that I got an email in response to my letter to Triple-J from the other day. Apparantly quite a lot of other people wrote similar letters. Not only did they run a followup story the next day which gave a more thorough examination of the likely source of MyDoom but they are also going to do a seperate story on Open Source and are soliciting input. I thought actual Open Source people rather than edge lurkers like me might have more relevant things to say.
GTA
My XBox GTA pack finally arrived from New Zealand. My parents are still visiting at the moment but once they go and I have the space I expect I'll likely disappear for a few days for a bit of virtual carnage.
